Ihr Sporttermin rückt näher, Sie sollten sich jetzt langsam für den Aufbruch fertig machen. Ihre Lust auf das Sporttreiben heute ist nicht sehr hoch und es taucht plötzlich der „Innere Schweinehund“ mit solchen Gedanken auf: Einmal fehlen ist keinmal fehlen! – Die anderen sind doch auch nicht immer da! – So viel versäume ich da auch nicht, das kann ich gut wieder aufholen! Vorsicht: Der Abbruch Ihres Vorhabens fängt mit solchen Gedanken an. Denn der Abbruch beginnt immer im Kopf! Solche Gedanken können Sie unterbrechen. Sagen Sie laut „Stopp“ zu sich selbst, „rote Ampel!“. Denken Sie stattdessen darüber nach, wie wichtig der Sport für Ihre Gesundheitsziele ist. Sprechen Sie Ihren inneren Schweinehund direkt an: „Keine Chance – ich tu, was ich mir vorgenommen hab. Und jetzt Schluss!“ Bei manchen Menschen funktioniert diese Methode des Gedankenstopps ausgezeichnet. Probieren Sie es selbst mal aus.
